Requirements

Hotels: certified HACCP system, preferably ISO 9001, at least 3* hotels at a national classification, Nutritionist employed is a plus

Restaurants: certified HACCP system, preferably ISO 9001, Nutritionist employed is a plus

Schools: if you have your own kitchen: certified HACCP system, preferably ISO 9001, Restaurant, and Nutritionist employed is a plus

If you don’t have your kitchen: restaurant is a must have, Nutritionist employed is a plus, and you can be certified as Healthy Meal Standard friendly*

Hospitals: if you have your own kitchen: certified HACCP system, Nutritionist, preferably ISO 9001

If you don’t have your kitchen: certified HACCP system, Nutritionist, preferably ISO 9001 and you can be certified as Healthy Meal Standard friendly*,

Kindergartens: if you have your own kitchen: certified HACCP system, Nutritionist is a plus, preferably ISO 9001

Specialty hospitals, Spa, Health resort: if you have your own kitchen: certified HACCP system, Nutritionist is a plus, preferably ISO 9001

If you don’t have your kitchen: certified HACCP system, Nutritionist is a plus, preferably ISO 9001 and you can be certified as Healthy Meal Standard friendly*,

Cruisers and other ships: certified HACCP system, Nutritionist is a plus, preferably ISO 9001

Oil platforms: certified HACCP system, Nutritionist is a plus, preferably ISO 9001

Airline companies: certified HACCP system, Nutritionist is a plus, preferably ISO 9001

 

*Healthy Meal Standard friendly means that a facility does not have a kitchen on it’s own, but uses a catering service of delivered food. In that case, catering system must be certified according to the Healthy Meal Standards for same categories, as a *HMS friendly facility.

 

Important note: For implementation and certification of Healthy Meal Standard Gluten Free Certificate, we require a facility to have certified Gluten free HACCP requirements according to AOECS.
